Description
Reliable IMAC Affinity Resin for His-Tagged Protein Purification
ZetaSep NTA (metal-free) FF6 from emp BIOTECH is a 6% cross-linked beaded agarose resin functionalized with uncharged nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) ligands for immobilized metal affinity chromatography (IMAC). Supplied as an FPLC column, it enables customizable purification of His-tagged proteins by charging the resin with your metal ion of choice (Ni²⁺, Co²⁺, Cu²⁺, Zn²⁺).
The resin binds polyhistidine-tagged proteins via selective affinity to chelated metal ions coordinated within the NTA ligand. After washing, proteins are eluted under native or denaturing conditions using imidazole, histidine, or low pH buffers. ZetaSep NTA FF6 offers flexibility and scalability from research to process development.
