ZetaSep Desalt is a pre-packed 5 mL FPLC column filled with Zetadex-25 Superfine, an ultrapure, cross-linked dextran gel filtration resin. Designed for efficient separation of high molecular weight biomolecules from low molecular weight contaminants, it enables rapid desalting, buffer exchange, and small molecule removal using automated liquid chromatography systems such as ÄKTA™, MPLC, or peristaltic pumps.
With a molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) of ~5 kDa, this column effectively separates proteins, peptides, enzymes, and nucleic acids from salts, dyes, urea, and other small molecules. The gentle size-exclusion process ensures high recovery, minimal dilution, and preservation of biological activity.
