Description
Flexible HIC Resin for Protein Separation in High-Salt Conditions
Zetarose Butyl FF6 from emp BIOTECH is a hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) resin designed for efficient purification of proteins and biomolecules based on hydrophobicity. This 6% cross-linked agarose resin is derivatized with a short-chain aliphatic butyl ligand (C₄H₉), providing moderate hydrophobic interaction ideal for gradient elution workflows.
The 100 µm beaded agarose structure offers excellent pressure resistance and flow performance, enabling high-throughput purification without compromising resolution. Zetarose Butyl FF6 is particularly suitable for capturing proteins under high-salt conditions and eluting under decreasing salt gradients, offering reproducible performance for a variety of downstream processing steps.
