Zetadex-50 Medium, Hydrated in PBS / 0.02% NaN₃ is a pre-swollen gel filtration matrix developed by emp BIOTECH, designed for process-scale purification, desalting, and buffer exchange. The resin consists of 50–150 µm cross-linked dextran beads with high chemical stability and low non-specific binding. With a molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) of ~25 kDa for proteins and ~20 base pairs for nucleic acids, it offers fast and selective purification via gravity flow systems.
Pre-equilibrated in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4) with 0.02% sodium azide, this resin eliminates the need for hydration or pre-washing—enabling convenient and efficient integration into downstream workflows.
