Description
Robust Size Exclusion Resin for Process-Scale Desalting and Buffer Exchange
Zetadex-25 Coarse is a dry, beaded size exclusion resin designed for preparative and process-scale purification of proteins and nucleic acids. Composed of ultrapure cross-linked dextran, this robust gel filtration matrix enables rapid desalting, buffer exchange, and the removal of low molecular weight contaminants.
With bead diameters ranging from 100 to 300 µm, Zetadex-25 Coarse supports excellent flow rates and mechanical stability, making it an ideal choice for gravity flow and large-scale column chromatography. Its molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) of 5 kDa for proteins and 10 base pairs for nucleic acids ensures effective separation of target biomolecules from salts, dyes, and other small molecules.
Performance Highlights
- High-resolution separation based on molecular size
- ≥ 5 kDa exclusion limit for proteins, ≥ 10 bp for nucleic acids
- Coarse bead size (100–300 µm) for optimal flow and column performance
- Minimal dilution of target biomolecules
- Broad pH and buffer compatibility
- Excellent mechanical and chemical stability
