SMART Chromatography™ for Weak Cation Exchange
SMART Chromatography™ CM Boost is a pre-packed ion exchange column containing ZetaCell CM Boost resin—large, cross-linked agarose beads functionalized with a carboxymethyl (CM) weak cation exchange ligand. Designed for SMART Chromatography™, this column enables efficient protein purification directly from non-clarified feedstreams such as cell culture or lysate.
The high-density surface functionalization of the resin provides increased binding capacity and efficient separation under mild conditions. With 250 µm bead size and open interstitial spaces, the column allows unhindered flow of whole cells and debris, eliminating the need for prior clarification and enabling reliable scale-up from R&D to manufacturing.
