SMART Chromatography™ SP Boost from emp BIOTECH is a pre-packed FPLC column designed for efficient ion exchange purification using SMART Chromatography™. The column is filled with ZetaCell SP Boost resin—large, highly cross-linked agarose beads functionalized with sulphopropyl (SP), a strong cation exchange ligand. With surface-localized ion exchange sites, this resin delivers enhanced binding capacity, low backpressure, and clog-resistant flow—ideal for cell-containing feedstreams.
The robust design supports high linear flow rates and alkaline stability, enabling fast, reproducible separation of positively charged biomolecules across a wide pH range. Pre-packed in durable PMMA housing with stainless steel frits and M6 connectors, the column is ready to integrate into any FPLC workflow.
