TurboTag 557 (Tetramethylrhodamine Protein Labeling Kit)

The TurboTag 557 Protein Labeling & Purification Kit is designed for the labeling and purification of proteins to form protein-dye conjugates having fluorescence-excitation and fluorescence-emission maxima at around 557 nm and 574 nm, respectively.

Description

TurboTag 557 Protein Labeling Kit for High-Performance TAMRA Conjugation

TurboTag 557 from emp BIOTECH is a complete protein labeling and purification kit for covalent conjugation with carboxy-tetramethylrhodamine (TAMRA), a bright and stable red fluorophore. Designed for proteins ≥ 25 kDa—especially antibodies—the kit uses a highly reactive NHS ester to form stable amide linkages between TAMRA and primary amines on the target protein.

The resulting protein-dye conjugates exhibit strong fluorescence with excitation at 554 nm and emission at 577 nm, ideal for red-channel fluorescence applications in imaging, detection, and analysis.

Each kit includes 50 nmol of reactive dye—sufficient to label up to 15 nmol of protein—and is compatible with optimized protocols for labeling 1 mg or 100 µg of IgG. TurboTag 557 provides a simple, reproducible workflow for generating high-quality, fluorescently labeled proteins.

Performance Highlights
