TurboTag 587 from emp BIOTECH is a complete labeling and purification kit designed for covalent conjugation of proteins with X-Rhodamine (ROX). Ideal for proteins ≥ 25 kDa, particularly antibodies, the kit utilizes a highly reactive NHS ester of carboxy-X-rhodamine to form stable amide linkages with primary amines. The resulting conjugates exhibit strong fluorescence with excitation at 587 nm and emission at 599 nm, making this kit especially suited for red-channel detection in fluorescence-based assays.

Each vial contains 50 nmol of reactive TurboTag 587 dye—sufficient to label up to 15 nmol of protein. For optimal performance, follow the included protocols for labeling 1 mg or 100 µg of IgG.
