Description
TurboTag 646 Protein Labeling Kit for Brilliant SemperRed 647 Conjugation
TurboTag 646 from emp BIOTECH is a ready-to-use protein labeling and purification kit designed for efficient fluorescent conjugation with SemperRed 647, a far-red fluorophore. The kit uses a highly reactive NHS ester to covalently attach the dye to proteins via primary amines, forming stable amide bonds. Optimized for proteins ≥ 25 kDa—especially antibodies—TurboTag 646 delivers bright far-red fluorescence with excitation/emission maxima at 647 nm and 665 nm, ideal for multiplex fluorescence applications with minimal background.
Each vial contains 50 nmol of active dye, sufficient to label up to 15 nmol of protein. The kit includes pre-validated protocols for labeling both 1 mg and 100 µg of IgG, ensuring reproducible and fast workflows in research, diagnostics, or imaging.
