TurboTag 490 Protein Labeling Kit for High-Sensitivity DY-490 Conjugation
TurboTag 490 from emp BIOTECH is a complete labeling and purification kit for covalent conjugation of proteins with the DY-490 fluorophore. It is optimized for labeling proteins ≥ 25 kDa—especially antibodies—using a highly reactive NHS ester derivative of DY-490 dye. The resulting conjugates form a stable amide linkage and display strong fluorescence, with excitation at 491 nm and emission at 515 nm, ideal for green-channel detection in fluorescence-based assays.
Each vial delivers 50 nmol of reactive dye, sufficient to label up to 15 nmol of protein. TurboTag 490 is compatible with emp BIOTECH’s pre-validated protocols for 1 mg or 100 µg of IgG, enabling quick, efficient conjugation workflows with minimal optimization.
