TurboTag 701 (DY-701 Protein Labeling Kit)

The TurboTag 701 Protein Labeling & Purification Kit is designed for the labeling and purification of proteins to form protein-dye conjugates having fluorescence-excitation and fluorescence-emission maxima at around 706 nm and 735 nm, respectively.

Description

TurboTag 701 Protein Labeling Kit for Near-Infrared DY-701 Conjugation

TurboTag 701 from emp BIOTECH is a complete fluorescent protein labeling and purification kit designed for the covalent conjugation of proteins with DY-701, a near-infrared dye. Ideal for proteins ≥ 25 kDa—including antibodies—the kit utilizes a reactive NHS ester of DY-701 that forms stable amide linkages with primary amines. The resulting protein-dye conjugates exhibit excitation/emission maxima at 706 nm and 735 nm, making them highly suitable for low-background fluorescence detection and deep-tissue imaging.

Each vial contains 50 nmol of reactive dye, sufficient to label up to 15 nmol of protein. The kit includes optimized protocols for both 1 mg and 100 µg IgG labeling, providing a robust, reproducible workflow for biochemical and diagnostic applications.

Performance Highlights

  • Effective fluorescent labeling of proteins ≥ 25 kDa, especially IgG and other antibodies

  • Near-infrared fluorescence with DY-701 (excitation/emission at 706/735 nm)

  • NHS ester-mediated covalent labeling ensures stability and reproducibility

  • Pre-validated protocols for labeling 1 mg or 100 µg of IgG

  • Excellent performance for low-background and multiplex fluorescence assays
