Description
TurboTag 701 Protein Labeling Kit for Near-Infrared DY-701 Conjugation
TurboTag 701 from emp BIOTECH is a complete fluorescent protein labeling and purification kit designed for the covalent conjugation of proteins with DY-701, a near-infrared dye. Ideal for proteins ≥ 25 kDa—including antibodies—the kit utilizes a reactive NHS ester of DY-701 that forms stable amide linkages with primary amines. The resulting protein-dye conjugates exhibit excitation/emission maxima at 706 nm and 735 nm, making them highly suitable for low-background fluorescence detection and deep-tissue imaging.
Each vial contains 50 nmol of reactive dye, sufficient to label up to 15 nmol of protein. The kit includes optimized protocols for both 1 mg and 100 µg IgG labeling, providing a robust, reproducible workflow for biochemical and diagnostic applications.
