TurboTag 649 from emp BIOTECH is a ready-to-use protein labeling and purification kit optimized for covalent conjugation of antibodies and other proteins ≥ 25 kDa with the far-red fluorophore DY-649P1. The kit uses a highly reactive NHS ester derivative to ensure stable amide linkage formation, producing protein-dye conjugates with fluorescence excitation and emission maxima at 654 nm and 672 nm, respectively.
Each kit includes 50 nmol of reactive dye, enabling labeling of up to 15 nmol of protein. TurboTag 649 is ideal for immunoassays, in vivo imaging, and other applications requiring strong far-red signal and minimal background. The kit includes pre-optimized protocols for labeling 1 mg or 100 µg of IgG, ensuring fast and consistent results.
