TurboTag 547 from emp BIOTECH is a complete labeling and purification kit for the covalent conjugation of proteins with the DY-547P1 fluorophore. Optimized for proteins ≥ 25 kDa—especially antibodies—the kit uses a highly reactive NHS ester to form stable amide linkages with primary amines, yielding robust and reproducible dye-protein conjugates.
The resulting conjugates exhibit excitation at 559 nm and emission at 575 nm, making TurboTag 547 ideal for use in fluorescence detection, immunoassays, and protein tracking. Each vial contains 50 nmol of reactive dye, sufficient to label up to 15 nmol of protein. Pre-optimized protocols for 1 mg and 100 µg IgG streamline the labeling process and deliver consistent results.
