TurboTag 550 from emp BIOTECH is a complete fluorescent labeling and purification kit designed for covalent conjugation of proteins with DY-550 fluorophore from DYOMICS. Ideal for proteins ≥ 25 kDa, especially antibodies, this kit utilizes a highly reactive NHS ester to form stable amide bonds with primary amines, enabling efficient fluorescent labeling under mild conditions. The resulting conjugates exhibit excitation and emission maxima at 560 nmand 584 nm, delivering strong fluorescence for imaging, detection, and assay applications.
Each vial of TurboTag 550 contains 50 nmol of reactive dye and can label up to 15 nmol of protein. Pre-validated protocols for 1 mg and 100 µg IgG ensure reliable and reproducible results, even for first-time users.
