TurboTag 647 (DY-647 Protein Labeling Kit)

The TurboTag 647 Protein Labeling & Purification Kit is designed for the labeling and purification of proteins to form protein-dye conjugates having fluorescence-excitation and fluorescence-emission maxima at around 649 nm and 663 nm, respectively.

Description

TurboTag 647 Protein Labeling Kit for Robust DY-647 Conjugation

TurboTag 647 from emp BIOTECH is a comprehensive protein labeling and purification kit tailored for covalent conjugation of antibodies and other proteins ≥ 25 kDa using DY-647, a far-red fluorophore. The included reactive NHS ester dye forms a stable amide bond with primary amines on proteins, delivering reliable, reproducible conjugation for fluorescence-based workflows.

Each vial provides 50 nmol of reactive dye and allows labeling of up to 15 nmol of protein. The resulting conjugates exhibit sharp excitation/emission peaks at 653 nm and 672 nm, ideal for sensitive detection in multiplex assays, in vivo studies, and fluorescence microscopy. TurboTag 647 comes with optimized protocols for both 1 mg and 100 µg IgG labeling.

Performance Highlights

  • Efficient labeling of proteins ≥ 25 kDa, especially IgG and antibodies
