Gravity Flow Gel Filtration for Rapid Desalting and Buffer Exchange
Dextran-Based Size Exclusion Columns and Plates for Proteins, Oligonucleotides, and Nanoparticles
CentriPure™ is emp BIOTECH’s versatile product line for desalting, buffer exchange, and purification using Zetadex™, a dextran-based size exclusion resin. Whether working with antibodies, oligonucleotides, enzymes, or nanoparticles, CentriPure™ enables the rapid and efficient removal of small molecules—such as salts, dyes, biotin, or haptens—from larger biomolecules in a single step. In general, CentriPure Gel Filtration Columns can be used for the same applications as the PD-10, the NAP-5, NAP-10 or NAP-25 columns which are manufactured by Cytiva.
The product range covers volumes from 150 µL to 150 mL and supports both manual and automated workflows. Whether you’re purifying antibodies, enzymes, oligonucleotides, or nanoparticles, CentriPure™ delivers high recovery with minimal dilution.
Key Features and Benefits of CentriPure™ Gel Filtration Columns
CentriPure™ columns deliver fast, reproducible desalting and buffer exchange across a broad range of sample volumes and applications. All columns are pre-packed with ultrapure Zetadex™ dextran-based resin and are ready to use—no resin preparation, equilibration, or setup required.
Pre-packed and ready to use
No setup, swelling, or resin handling—just equilibrate and purify.
Gravity-flow operation
Standalone workflow with no need for centrifuges or pumps.
Two MWCO options
Zetadex-25 (5 kDa / 10 bp) and Zetadex-50 (25 kDa / 20 bp) for targeted separation.
High recovery and resolution
≥85% recovery with efficient removal of salts, dyes, biotin, and haptens.
Scalable fixed-volume formats
Available in 11 sizes from 150 µL to 150 mL.
Endotoxin-free options
Certified low-endotoxin formats for sensitive workflows.
